Ben Gorani
Ben Gorani is Executive Director at the Institute for Affirmative Action. He has over five years of experience in political communication, working across political campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and public-facing communication. His work has included spearheading campaigns, developing communication strategies, and translating political ideas and policy messages into clear and accessible narratives. His key strengths lie in strategic communication, message development, and the effective dissemination of ideas across digital and traditional platforms. As Executive Director, Ben oversees the Institute’s strategic direction, public communication, projects, and organizational development.

Lisjan Perolli
Lisjan Perolli është Koordinator i Projekteve në Institutin për Aksion Afirmativ. Detyrat e tij përfshijnë ndërmjetësimin e kërkimeve politike të Institutit, trajtimin e aspekteve administrative të tyre, si dhe menaxhimin e pranisë në internet përmes rrjeteve sociale dhe web-it në përgjithësi. Paralelisht, Lisjani është i angazhuar si menaxher i mediave sociale në Partinë Socialdemokrate (PSD). Lisjani ka studiuar Gjuhën Angleze në Fakultetin e Filologjisë të Universitetit të Prishtinës. Ai gjithashtu është alumni në ProgWeb dhe Shkollën Politike të PIPS.

Teutë Rrusta
Teuta is a Policy Researcher at the Institute for Affirmative Action. Teuta works on issues pertaining to women’s rights, gender equality as well as energy poverty. She comes from political party work, which makes her policy contributions at the IAA essential in bridging politics and policy advocacy. She started her political activism in 2006, as the leader of the Women’s Activism Secretariat. From 2018 until 2024, she was one of the founders of the Social Democratic Party and has been serving as the General Secretary of the PSD and recently also elected the vice president of the PSD. Teuta is also an alumna of the FES Political Academy, class of 2016, and an alumna of the Women's Week from National Democratic Institute (NDI). She has a degree in Sociology from the University of Prishtina.

Nol Nushi
Nol Nushi is a Policy Researcher at the Institute for Affirmative Action. Nol has close to 15 years of experience in local government policy making. For a mandate he served as an elected member of the Prishtina Assembly, playing an essential role in passing the vote against building a luxurious gated community at the drinking water lake near Prishtina and the remission of heat bills during the pandemic for small businesses. Prior to this, Nol served as the chief of staff of the Mayor of Kamenica Municipality, in which role he spearheaded and facilitated the new regulation for using public spaces and achieved the targets within the Municipality's budget to meet the demands of the performance grant given by the Ministry of Local Government Administration. Nol is also the co-founder of the Social Democratic Party and his political activism and many media appearances have helped shaped the policy discourse on many topics, including the energy sector, populism and socio-economic equality.

Natyra Kuçi
Natyra Kuçi is a Policy Researcher at Institute for Affirmative Action. She has vast experience in public policy making at the local level. Natyra served for a mandate in the Municipal Assembly of Deçan Municipality, spearheading important legislations for the city that stopped the Municipal plan for waste management, which was mired in corruption and conflict of interest. She also pushed for student scholarships for low-income families. Natyra has some experience in the private and non governmental sectors as well. She has worked at the Procredit Bank, Deloitte and CIVIC Institute. Natyra is a banker and accountant by training and holds a degree in Banking, Finance, and Accounting from the University of Prishtina. In addition, Natyra holds a Master's degree in General Management from Riinvest University.

Hysen Bojaxhiu
Hysen Bojaxhiu is the Logistics Manager at the Institute for Affirmative Action. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Philosophy, in the Department of History. He is currently in the final year of his master's studies in Modern History (History of the Modern Era). His fields of interest include the political and social history of Kosovo and Albania during the 19th and 20th centuries.
